Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your Musevo account at any time, directly in the app under Settings. Here's exactly how it works and what happens to your data.
01 Open the menu and go to Settings
In the Musevo app, tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner of the home screen, then choose “Settings”.
02 Tap “Delete account”
In Settings, tap the “Delete account” button, which sits just below “Change password”. This starts the deletion process.
- You can still cancel at any point until the final step.
03 Confirm that you understand
You'll see a reminder that deleting your account permanently removes all your content, including your profile, uploads and saves. Tick “I understand”, then tap “Continue”.
- Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.
04 Answer a quick question
On the “Before you go…” screen, let us know why you're leaving (or pick “Other”), then tap “Continue”. It's quick and helps us improve Musevo.
- Choose the reason that fits best.
05 Verify it's really you
Enter your email to receive a verification code and tap “Send”, then enter the code. Once verified, your account and all its content are permanently deleted.
- The code makes sure no one but you can delete the account.
- After verification you're signed out, and the deletion is complete.
What happens to your data
Deleted permanently
- Your profile and account details.
- Your uploaded artworks and personal gallery.
- Your saved items and challenge history.
May be kept
- Records we're legally required to retain (e.g. for tax or compliance), kept only as long as the law requires.
- Anonymised data that can no longer be linked back to you.
Can't access the app?
If you're unable to sign in, email us and we'll delete your account for you.
